Faithfulness in the little things is never wasted.
There was once a humble carpenter who was asked to build a shelter for strangers he would never meet.
He worked alone—no applause, no spotlight.
Yet with each nail he drove into the beams, he whispered, “Let this hold in the storm.”
He took no shortcuts. Every plank was measured, every joint secure. People mocked his thoroughness. “It’s just a shed,” they said.
Years later, a fierce storm swept through the village. Families rushed into that same shelter. The wind howled, the rain raged—but the roof held.
One nail—hidden deep in the frame—had braced the entire structure.
He never knew which one it was. But he had hammered all with care.
This is the life of faith.
We don’t always see the impact of our prayers, our work, or our witness.
But God sees. And when the storm comes, it’s often the unseen acts of obedience that hold everything together.
So hammer your “nails”—with excellence, with integrity, with faith.
Not for applause. But because it matters.
